At LONGUE VIE, a jovial atmosphere and stimulating, companionable activities are available to our residents every day.

Our Activities Coordinator's primary task is to energize our residents, keep them fit and help them have fun with a smorgasbord of programs specially designed for seniors.

She organizes excursions to interesting tourist sites, cultural events, markets, or walking trails through the forests. Special onsite social events are also organized regularly, such as a weekly movie club; special celebrations with food (a Mother's Day feast, for example); and music, arts and crafts workshops.

Comfortable meeting places and sitting rooms are available throughout the complex. The television room is equipped with an extensive video cassette library. The library contains several hundred books in English, Arabic and French. The social activity room offers various card and board games, such as backgammon, scrabble, chess, and numerous others for residents to play.

To help residents pay tribute to the beauty of life in nature, the grounds offer an abundance of gardening plots for the exclusive use of those who wish to plant flowers or start a vegetable garden.
