Everyone knows the benefits of BHERSAF's excellent climate. In this place, where calmness and serenity prevail, far from the city and its noise, LONGUE VIE widens its scope. " MONT JOLI" which originally hosted the relatives and families of seniors, has now become a rest and recovery center. The convalescent, whatever his age may be, is always welcome at MONT JOLI. He will stay there until he gets well and physically fit again. Aside from enjoying comfort, fresh air, the calmness and quiet of nature, residents will recover their physical abilities through physiotherapy sessions, a healthy food regime adapted to their personal needs and excellent care afforded by a qualified medical team.

MONT JOLI, initially created as an inn to welcome visiting families [of Longue Vie residents], has just been turned into a resting and recovery center. Doctor Atef Majdalani, the medical advisor, explains: "This center welcomes those who need to rest after a critical period during or after an illness. Cases involve open heart surgery, neurosurgery intervention, neurological illnesses, rheumatology or orthopedical interventions …Re-education is overseen by physiotherapists, who have the most sophisticated equipment available on site. The presence of a team of professional nurses, and daily visits of two doctors, ensures strict and constant medical supervision.”

This is a response to a great need in the health field that perfectly fits the framework of the social activities undertaken by the “LONGUE VIE” Foundation.
